Yes - When developing graphics for VividHeads follow these simple instructions or use one of our design templates. We also have an Advanced Instructions section with lots of info.

Where can I get stock photos and images?
Bluevertigo.com is one of the largest collections of links to other websites of stock photos, images, clip art, fonts, sound files, videos and logotypes. This site scrolls from left to right and is a little confusing to work at first but is very cool. Before you make any purchase, keep reading the info below:

If you purchase images from any of these stock photo websites, make sure you purchase the correct usage license. These companies are getting strict on copyright enforcement. Keep in mind that you are advertising your band and that many of these sites DO NOT allow the use of Trade Names, Trademarks, Logos or Service marks on top of their images or photos (a service mark or trademark could be your band's name for example) Also many of these stock sites DO NOT allow you to use the images with "Print-on-Demand products" - the products we make are print on demand.

Royalty free images are NOT free to use. That term is confusing. You must read all the fine print before you purchase and use any image. When it comes to images and photos your best bet is to actually take the photos yourself. It's cheaper and you don't have to worry about all that legal stuff. Plus you then own the copyright free and clear. You can do what ever you wish without all the rules that stock companies want you to obey.

One last issue. Watch out for companies that offer design software on their website which allows you to build on-demand-products (for example T-shirts builders). These builder programs allow you to choose am image from a stock photo website (through their website) as the background image and then you put your band's name or logo on top. These companies normally buy the image from the stock website for you. But the issue is if they buy the image, you don't actually own any of the copyrights. You are also relying on that company to purchase the correct usage license. - YOU need to buy all images yourself in order to avoid any legal issues in the future.


Can I remove the logo from my drumhead?
No, the products are permanent and cannot be removed without damage to the entire drumhead.

You are not comparing Apples to Apples. We use high grade quality materials and patented production processes. We have spent many years perfecting some of our processes like; edge-to-edge printing, heat sealed edges and machine adhered graphics. Excellent production is what makes a quality drumhead. Others skip these procedures to save on their production cost and try to get you to buy based on price alone. You don't want a bunch of small bubbles in your drumhead and you don't want it to fall apart, do you? You want it to look the best and last many years. Remember our drumheads have a great sound too. Others use second rate Taiwanese drumheads thinking that you will not notice the sound difference - try our drumheads and you will hear the difference. Do you guys play the drums?
Yes - we play the drums! This is what makes Vintage Logos different because we speak drums, we speak graphic design and we speak computer lingo. We are aware of most drum brands and have a vast knowledge of vintage drum kits too. We can answer most questions and come up with unique solutions.

Should I have a Mic Hole installed?
Depends on your taste. Most drummers mic their bass drum. In fact 90 percent of our customers have mic holes installed by us. We suggest 4", 5" or 6" sizes.

HOLZ Snapperz and mic hole ordering issues?
• When ordering a HOLZ Snapperz to be installed, DO NOT also order a Mic Hole. The HOLZ price includes the mic hole installation cost. If you make this mistake, we will credit back the cost of the mic hole to your credit card.
• We can install a HOLZ Snapperz in any of our products. If you don't see them offered, just make a note in the "Ordering Instructions box" in our shopping cart; what size, color and placement you need and we will add this to your order.

Will you post my photos in your Photo gallery?
Yes - But before you upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that may infringe upon any copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party; make sure you have the legal right to send the content you are sending us; by transmitting you agree to our Policies
If you used a Stock Photo, make sure the license agreement you purchased allows the image to be posted onto websites and social networks.
